CEO of Akhter Hameed Khan Foundation (AHKF) Dr. Ayesha Khan visited the PMDFC head office with her Director Implementation Imran Javed. General Manager Institutional Development (ID) Mahmood Masood Tamana and Solid Waste Management Expert Ahsan Bela attended the meeting on behalf of PMDFC. Dr. Khan explained AHKF activities in the public welfare improvement sector, particularly in health and sanitary services. AKHF contribution under the preparation of the Solid Waste Management Strategy for Sahiwal Division was also presented. Mahmood Tamana explained PMDFC contributions in the improvement of local government services, including water/wastewater management and infrastructure facilities. He also shared his rich experience of working with the local government. Ahsan Bela explained solid waste management projects being executed by PMDFC. It was agreed to continue liaison of both organisations and to use their technical expertise to enhance the benefits of development projects.
