The first meeting of the newly constituted Strategic Planning Committee of the Board of Directors, Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC), was held today at the PMDFC Head Office under the chairmanship of Mr. Zeeshan Ali Noorani.
The meeting was attended by committee members, including Syed Kamal Ali Haider, Khawar Kamal, Member (UD/LG) P&D, Government of Punjab, and Secretary of the Committee / MD- PMDFC, Syed Zahid Aziz. Mr. Mazhar Ali Khan, General Body Member, joined the meeting as a co-opted member. While Chairman BOD Immad Iftikhar Malik, Mahmood Masood Tamanna GM ID and Azhar Tahir, Company Secretary, also attended the meeting. Chairman Zeeshan Ali Noorani welcomed the participants and encouraged all members to contribute proactively to the improvement and long-term strategic growth of PMDFC.
During the session, the committee reviewed and discussed a range of agenda items, including the five-year Business Development Plan, staff welfare measures, and capacity-building initiatives to strengthen institutional performance. The committee principally agreed to all agenda items and instructed management to further refine the proposals and submit them to the competent forum for formal approval. Highlighting the importance of public awareness, the Chairman also directed the team to launch the upcoming Punjab Inclusive Cities Program (PICP) through a mega event, ensuring wide outreach and visibility of PMDFC’s developmental work across Punjab.
