A meeting was held with the World Bank team to discuss activities related to the Disbursement-Linked Indicators (DLIs) under the upcoming Punjab Inclusive Cities Program (PICP). The session was chaired by Syed Zahid Aziz, Managing Director PMDFC, accompanied by his technical and program management team.
From the World Bank, Ms. Amena Raja, Mr. Carlo Alberto Amadei (Task Team Lead), and Mr. Suhaib Rasheed (Senior Urban Specialist) joined the meeting virtually.
The discussion focused on the preparatory arrangements for key DLIs, including Environmental and Social Management (ESM) frameworks, monitoring mechanisms, and IT-based initiatives envisioned under the program. Both teams deliberated on implementation readiness, capacity requirements, and coordination mechanisms to ensure smooth program initiation and effective alignment with the World Bank’s operational guidelines and objectives for inclusive urban development in Punjab.
