Syed Zahid Aziz (MD, PMDFC) and Adnan Nisar Khan (GM Engineering/DPD) The Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) shared insights from its flagship initiative, the Punjab Inclusive Cities Program (PICP), during an ongoing World Bank Workshop on “Water Reuse and Citywide Inclusive Sanitation” at the Singapore Water Centre.
They presented the key objectives of PICP—highlighting how the program aims to transform the urban WASH landscape across 16 intermediary cities in Punjab. Their presentation focused on PMDFC’s innovative approaches toward citywide sanitation planning, water reuse, e-governance systems, and sustainable service delivery models.
As part of the World Bank Workshop on “Water Reuse and Citywide Inclusive Sanitation,” the delegation from the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) also visited the Changi Water Reclamation Plant — one of the world’s most advanced facilities for water recycling and sustainable wastewater management.
