A meeting was held on July 2, 2025, at the Office of the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad, chaired by Mr. Abdul Razzaq (DC), along with Mr. Hamidullah (ADCG) and Mr. Tanveer Yasir (ADCR). The meeting was attended by officials from MC Hafizabad, including Mr. Ikram Ullah (CO) and Mr. Asif (MOI), as well as the PMDFC team comprising Ms. Rukhsana Shahid (PO, E&SM), Mr. Waqas Amjad (DPO, ID), Mr. Hassan Ali (DPO, Social), and Mr. Abdul Basit (DPO, E&SM). The PMDFC team briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the current status of land acquisition for WWTP and the disposal station under the PCP, highlighting the urgency of expediting the land acquisition and compensation process. The Deputy Commissioner acknowledged the need for timely implementation and agreed that land acquisition could proceed through a negotiated settlement approach.
