A joint meeting of the Technical Working Group and Mux GrEnergy Pvt Ltd (MGE) was held at the PMDFC Head Office for deliberation of the unsolicited proposal submitted by MGE for purchasing solid waste from waste management companies for waste-to-energy purposes. The meeting was chaired by the Convener of the Group, Syed Zahid Aziz MD PMDFC. Mr. Zia-ul-Haq Bandesha from MGE delivered a detailed presentation on their proposal. Different modalities of contract were discussed in detail, including PPP mode, Design Build Operation mode etc. The chaired furnished a sub-group for further proceeding on the matter, comprising on Solid Waste Management Expert Ahsan Bela, SPO Procurement Zuhaib Butt and General Manager P&P LWMC Muhammad Saad.
