A delegation from the World Bank, comprising Ms. Shahnaz Arshad, Ms. Aamna Raja, and Mr. Suhaib Rasheed, visited the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) head office today. Syed Zahid Aziz, MD PMDFC, provided a comprehensive briefing on key initiatives being undertaken by PMDFC, including the Punjab Cities Program (PCP), feasibility studies and designs for sewerage and storm water drainage systems, revitalization of ponds, and the development of Material Recovery Facilities (MRF) and landfill sites in Faisalabad and Gujranwala.
The meeting also included discussions on the proposed Punjab Inclusive Cities Program, aimed at enhancing urban infrastructure and service delivery across various cities in Punjab.
Key officials from PMDFC who attended the meeting included Mr. Mahmood Masood Tamana (GM ID), Mr. Adnan Nisar (GM Engineering), Mr. Zohaib Butt (SPO Procurement), Mr. Nauman Akhter (SPO FM), Mr. Moazam Jamil (SPO ID), Ms. Rizwana Anjum (SPO ESM), Mr. Moeen Ul Din Sheikh (PPP Expert), Mr. Nauman Ijaz (GM F&A), and Mr. Amir Shah (PO GIS).
