A meeting was held at PMDFC’s head office with representatives from Unilever and their solid waste management partner, ISPES, to explore integrated solutions for managing industrial and domestic waste in Tehsil Pattoki and its surrounding areas. The discussion focused on potential options, including the development of a Material Recovery Facility (MRF), a composting facility, and the production of RDF. An integrated approach to treating fecal sludge alongside biodegradable waste from factories was also deliberated. Attendees included Mr. Adnan Nisar, GM Engineering, Mr. Moazam Jamil, Senior Program Officer (Infrastructure Development), Mr. Ahsan Iqbal Bela, and Mr. Wasif Azhar, Solid Waste Management Experts.
