Following the vision of Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Chief Minister Punjab to provide services at the doorsteps of the public, Zeeshan Rafique, Minister Local Government has inaugurated the system of the Municipal Corporation Sargodha. MC Sargodha has become the first local government in Punjab to achieve this milestone. The IT-based digital payment system was developed in cooperation with the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC), which has a proven track record of developing various IT-based e-governance systems for local governments, such as the Financial Management System, Asset Management System, and the Grievance Redress Management System (Baldiya Shikyat App) among others.
A ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by Secretary Local Government Shakeel Ahmed Mian, Members Punjab Assembly Safdar Sahi and Mian Ikram Ullah, GM PMDFC Mahmood Masood Tamanna, and Abdul Razzaq Dhillon, along with other government officials and individuals from various walks of life.
