The World Bank delegation including Thierry Michael, Shahnaz Arshad, and Suhaib Rasheed, Senior Urban Specialists visited PMDFC today (08-05-2024). Syed Zahid Aziz, MD PMDFC welcomed them and shared insights of ongoing projects. He shared that project worth 18 billion PKR in 16 PCP cities of Punjab, funded by the World Bank, are nearing completion, focusing on water supply and sanitation. Moreover, we're gearing up for innovative public-private partnerships in local governance and installing water meters across 16 PCP cities. Moin-Ud-Din Sheikh and Ahsan Bela, shed light on PPP and solid waste management initiatives, emphasizing company’s commitment to sustainable development. As a token of appreciation, a PR package was presented to Mr. Thierry Michel.
