Today (26-02-2024) we had the honor of hosting a World Bank delegation led by Dr. Ishrat Hussain, accompanied by Shahnaz Arshad and Suhaib Rasheed, at Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company. Syed Zahid Aziz, MD PMDFC provided the delegation with an insightful briefing on the progress of PCP initiatives across 16 cities and the ongoing projects led by PMDFC. Mr. Mahmood Masood Tamana, GM ID shared a detailed briefing on the e-governance initiatives including Performance Management System (PMS) Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) and Local Government Financial Management Information System (LGFMIS). Following the briefing, the delegation visited project sites in Daska, where Administrator MC Daska shared updates on sewerage, stormwater drainage, and road projects, worth PKR 3265 Million. To mark the occasion, guests also planted trees in the MC lawn.
