A meeting was held with PD and the Program Team of Punjab Affordable Housing Program at PMDFC. The meeting was organized on the request of PD PAHP and the main agenda was to share the success stories and lessons learned of Punjab Cities Program for successful compliance of the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF). Syed Zahid Aziz MD- PMDFC explained the challenges faced in the implementation of E&S considerations in Punjab Cities Program. Ms. Rizwana Anjum, SPO ESM, briefed the PAHP team about the success stories of PCP and effectively overcoming challenges encountered during the implementation of the Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF). The session aimed for future collaboration and to provide assistance by the E&S team of PMDFC to the PAHP team in better handling the environmental and social aspects of their upcoming projects.
