A training workshop focused on energy management, operations, and maintenance was arranged by the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC). The primary objective was to enhance the capacity of municipal committee (MC) staff to effectively implement the energy audit recommendations. The training workshop witnessed the participation of staff members from all 16 partner municipal committees affiliated with the Punjab Cities Program. Additionally, board members Qamar-ul-Zaman and Imad Malik also attended the training, while senior officers from organizations such as WASA, Punjab Aab E Pak Authority, and LG&CDD Punjab, including Aslam Khan Niazi, Najeeb Aslam, Sharjeel Khan, and Chief Engineer of Local Government Khaled Hussaini, also took part. Syed Zahid Aziz, MD PMDFC and other senior Officers from the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company were in attendance as well. The distinguished Architect Planner, Parvez Iqbal, who serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at PMDFC, graced the event as the Chief Guest and also delivered opening remarks.
