Today (05-07-2023), a meeting took place with GIZ to discuss potential collaboration opportunities for enhancing the capacity of Local Governments. During the meeting, Syed Zahid Aziz, MD-PMDFC gave brief introduction of competences of PMDFC in capacity building of local governments. Mr. Mahmood Masood Tamana, GM, ID, expressed his thoughts about the possible interventions for upcoming project. Mr. Asim Shafi, Team Lead PLG Program GIZ, and Ms. Sanam Irshad, Technical Advisor- Local Government Services, GIZ, provided an overview of Participatory Local Governments Program (PLG) by GIZ and identified thematic areas where cooperation with PMDFC could be fruitful.
