Training program "Public Sector Procurement Management” on 17th, 18th & 19th May, 2022 was organized for 16 PCP partner cities. Chief Officers, Municipal Officers and Sub Engineers from Units attended the training program from South (Khanewal), Centre (Faisalabad) and North (Gujranwala) regions on 17th, 18th & 19th May, respectively.
Mr. Muhammad Iftikhar Rasool, MD, PMDFC in his inaugural remarks welcomed the participants and shared objectives of the training with participants. Mr. Nadeem Aslam, SO Companies from LG & CD Department also graced the occasion and shared his thoughts on importance of procurement process, appreciating the effort of PMDFC for capacity building of LG officers/officials. While on the second and third day SPO(FM) Mr. Nauman Akhtar and GM Finance (PMDFC) Mr. Shehzad Khan Sherwani welcomed the participants from Central and North regions respectively, shared importance and objectiveness of the training in their opening remarks. Senior resource persons including Mr. Kashif Mushtaq Ex Dir Legal & Monitoring, PPRA and Mr. Ali Faisal, Procurement Expert, PMDFC delivered detailed presentations on PPRA rules and procedures. Participants appreciated the knowledge sharing and learning opportunity. At the end of training, participants were also presented with certificate of participation by Mr. Shehzad Khan Sherwani, GM Finance (PMDFC) Mr. Tariq Farooq Khan, Procurement Consultant (PCP) and other senior officers from PMDFC.
