Startup meetings of consultancy services for sectoral planning, detailed design and resident supervision of package-wise PCP subprojects were held at PMDFC under the chairmanship of MD-PMDFC. Separate meetings were held with NESPAK Consultants on 10 March, Asian Consultants and MM Pakistan Pvt. Ltd on 11 March for briefing and orientation of sectoral planning and detail design teams. NESPAK is working in PCP cities of Hafizabad, Kamoke and Muridke (Package II), Asian Consulting Engineers (Pvt) Ltd, with M/s Rehman Habib Consultants (Pvt) Ltd working in Bahawalnagar, Burewala & Vehari (Package IV) while MM Pakistan Pvt. Ltd is working in Jhelum, Wazirabad & Daska, (Package I). First draft of the work plan was elaborated by the consultant while mobilization plan for the finalization of priority schemes were also discussed in detail. MD PMDFC emphasized on prioritization of subprojects & finalization of priority list and submission of PC 1 within the timelines to start execution of ID subprojects at the earliest. Team members from consulting firms and PCP team attended the meeting.
