A 3-day training session was held for all 16 MCs under Punjab Cities Program at Pakistan Institute of Management, Lahore. MC officials including Sub Engineers, Computer Operator, Water Supply In-charge and sanitary supervisors. South, Center and north region MCs attended the training session region-wise on 1st, 2nd and 3rd February respectively. The purpose of the training was to impart skills on E-governance initiatives such as Performance Management System and Computerized Complaint Tracking System. The participants were briefed about the effective implementation of Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) under PCP. More than 50 participants from MC Khanewal, Vehari, Burewala, Bahawalnagar, Kot Addu, Jaranwala, Gojra, Jhang, Kamalia, Okara, Jhelum, Daska, Hafizabad, Wazirabad, Kamoke and Muridke attended the training session. Participants appreciated the knowledge sharing through workshop. Mr. Gulzar Hussain PO IS(Khanewal), Mr. Abdul Hannan PO IS (Faisalabad) and Mr. Muhammad Qasim, PO IS (Gujranwala), conducted the training. Participants appreciated the knowledge sharing through workshop while at the end of session Mr. Nauman Akhter, SPO FM/IS replied to the queries of participants and thanked participants to conclude the session.
