A meeting of the project steering committee of the GIZ-funded project “Strengthening Provision of Municipal Services to the Citizens Through Improved Local Governments” was held on 16 Nov 2021. The welcome address was delivered by Special Secretary LG & CDD Ms. Mussarat jabeen while MD PMDFC Mr. Muhammad Iftikhar Rasool briefed participants about meeting agenda points. MD PMDFC also presented the progress of the project and shared the details about different initiatives being taken under the project. Consultant Dr. Kiran shared key findings from her report and detailed discussions and decisions were made on these findings. Project coordinator Mr. Shehzad Khan Sherwani shared about the reappropriation of the budget and replacement of PLGO 2021 with prevailing PLGA in linked activities. He also shared the modalities for future activities and war forward to conclude the meeting.
