Honorable Minister for Local Government and Community Development Department Punjab, Mian Mahmood-Ur-Rasheed visited PMDFC Head Office along with Secretary LG&CD Department, Mr. Noor-Ul-Amin Mengal and chaired a meeting to review progress of Punjab Cities Program (PCP) and Punjab Intermediate Cities Improvement Investment Program (PICIIP). Mr. Shahid Zaman Lak, Additional Secretary (Dev.) LG&CDD was also present in the meeting. Program Director PCP, Mr. Iftikhar Rasool briefed about the progress of ongoing projects for effective municipal service delivery to the citizens under “Punjab Cities Program”. Followed by the Deputy Program Director, PICIIP, who shared progress of the activities being taken under the PICIIP. The Honorable Minister showed satisfaction over the progress of initiatives undertaken by PMDFC and provided valuable guidance to achieve affix targets of the programs. He also directed to expand the ambit of work and to further improve quality and effectiveness of municipal services to the public. He further added that it is the vision of Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar that every citizen must have access to the quality municipal services so every organ of the ministry should actively perform its duties to transform this into reality. PMDFC team including Mr. Shoaib Iftikhar, SPO-IS, Mr. Javed Iqbal SPO A&A and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
