The World Bank Environment & Social Safeguard Team, PCP Institutional Strengthening and Environment & Social Safeguard’s teams organized training sessions on implementation of Environment and Social Management Framework (ESMF) and its processes and procedures on July 06 – 08, 2021 at Pakistan Institute of Management (PIM), Gulberg-III, Lahore. The PCP E&SS team presented the implementation steps of ESMF in detail and gave knowledge on environmental and social assessment procedures (ESMP/ EIA/EII, RAP/ARAP) to be followed by MCs while preparing, appraising and implementing subprojects. Through virtual link, World Bank Team participated in training activities. The world Bank Team and PCP Team also addressed the runtime questions and answers of the participants. The participants of the training sessions were Municipal Officers (I&S) & Municipal Officer (Planning) of 16 PCP partner cities.
