A team of GIZ (German development agency) comprising Gohar Ayub, Hamid Masood and Sanam Arshad visited the office of PMDFC and had a meeting with Muhammad Aamer Nazeer, MD, PMDFC and Shoaib Iftikhar, GM, Institutional Development, PMDFC dated August 18, 2020.
The meeting aimed to discuss opportunities especially to explore the proposal for the Facilitation of Occupational Safety and Health Education for the Frontline Staff and Sanitary Workers of the Municipal Committees, as part of the COVID-19 strategy.
It is aimed to provide assistance to the Local Government & Community Development Department (LG&CDD), Government of the Punjab, and selected local governments to educate the male and female sanitary workers, and other frontline staff on safety and health measures focusing on COVID-19. Citizen participation and engagement will also be ensured.
