A coordination meeting was held today at the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) office, chaired by Syed Zahid Aziz, MD PMDFC and Chairman PWON, with representatives of Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and Agahe, to discuss ongoing and potential areas of collaboration.
During the meeting, participants exchanged views on current WASH-related initiatives, institutional strengths, and opportunities for technical cooperation. Key areas discussed included improving urban and peri-urban WASH service delivery, sustainable sanitation solutions, and alignment of ongoing projects with provincial priorities. Possible avenues for future collaboration, joint planning, and knowledge sharing were also explored, with a focus on leveraging each organization’s expertise to enhance impact and sustainability in the WASH sector.
The meeting was attended by Mian Hameedullah (WASH Advisor, WHH), Saima Williams (Global Advocacy Advisor, WHH), Mubarak Ali Sarwar (Chief Executive Officer, Agahe), Abdullah Avais (Head of Program, Agahe), and Muhammad Waqas Tahir (Project Manager WASH, Agahe). From PMDFC, Adnan Nisar Khan (GM, Engineering), and Tahira Jabeen, PO Coordination, participated in the discussion.
