A wrap-up session with the Implementation Completion Report (ICR) Mission of the Punjab Cities Program (PCP) was held today at the PMDFC office. The meeting was attended by Shahnaz Arshad, Senior Urban Specialist / TTL, Rumana Haque, Senior Urban Specialist, World Bank, Syed Zahid Aziz, MD PMDFC, Mahmood Masood Tamana, GM (ID), and Adnan Nisar Khan, GM (Engineering).
During the meeting, the mission team discussed their recent field visits to MC Kamoki, MC Muridke, and MC Gojra, where they reviewed the functioning of various e-governance systems implemented under PCP—such as LGFMIS, PMS, GRM, procurement, and GIS-based service mapping—along with inspections of key municipal infrastructure sub-projects, including sewerage systems, wastewater treatment facilities, disposal stations, and road works. The wrap-up session focused on consolidating key observations, documenting lessons learned, and outlining the final steps toward the completion of the ICR for the Punjab Cities Program.
Senior PMDFC officers including Muazzam Jamil Malik, SPO (ID), Rukhsana Shahid, PO (ESM), Nauman Akhtar, SPO (FM) Syed Aamir Mahmood Shah, PO GIS, Ammar Anwar, PO Procurement, Gulzar Hussain, Abdul Hanan, Wahab Khalid, Qasim Ali, Fazal Kareem, POs IS, Abid Ali, PO IT and DPOs from relevant sections also participated in the session.
