Rumana Haque, Senior Urban Specialist at the World Bank, visited the Municipal Committees of Muridke and Kamoki today as part of the Implementation Completion Report Mission of the Punjab Cities Program (PCP).
During the visit, she met with Tauseef Hassan Bhatti, Administrator MC Muridke, and Zarghona Khalid Saeed, Administrator MC Kamoki. Senior MC officials, including Chief Officers (COs) and Municipal Officers (MOs), were also present. From PMDFC, Mahmood Masood Tamna, General Manager (Institutional Development), along with other senior officers, accompanied her throughout the visit.
She visited various MC offices to review the functioning of key IT-based systems developed under the Punjab Cities Program, including the Local Government Financial Management Information System (LGFMIS), Performance Management System (PMS), Grievance Redressal Management (GRM) system and GIS.
Rumana Haque also inspected multiple municipal infrastructure subproject sites successfully completed under the program, assessing their performance, sustainability, and impact on service delivery in the partner cities.
