Today, PMDFC hosted a follow-up meeting of the World Bank’s Implementation Support Mission. Ms. Shahnaz Arshad (Team Task Lead) and Mr. Imran ul Haq (Senior Social Development Specialist) joined in person, while Ms. Rumana Huque and Mr. Suhaib Rasheed (Senior Urban Specialists) participated virtually.
MD PMDFC, Syed Zahid Aziz, led the session with his senior team, including experts in engineering, institutional development, PPP, procurement, finance, GIS, and environment & social management.
The discussions revisited key mission deliberations, with a strong focus on safeguards, social development, and environmental considerations, ensuring PCP initiatives deliver long-term benefits for the 16 program’s partner cities.
