The World Bank’s Punjab Inclusive Cities Appraisal Mission Visits PMDFC & Sheikhupura
The mission comprises Carlo Alberto Amadei (Water Specialist), Suhaib Rasheed (Senior Urban Specialist), Thierry Michel Rene Martin (Senior Urban Development Specialist), Imran-ul-Haq (Senior Social Development Specialist), Nida Asif (Environmental Specialist), and Syed Ibrahim Ali Shah (Consultant).
✅ A meeting was held at the PMDFC head office to discuss Environmental & Social Management (ESM) and institutional strengthening.
✅ Later, the mission visited MC Sheikhupura and met with DC Shahid Imran Marth and MC officers to review municipal services such as water supply and sewerage.
🤝 DC Sheikhupura assured full support, noting that the expected investment will uplift the city and solve chronic service delivery issues.
👥 PMDFC team, led by Syed Zahid Aziz (Managing Director, PMDFC), included Mahmood Masood Tamana (GM ID), Nauman Akhter (SPO FM), Gulzar Hussain, Muhammad Qasim (POs IS), and Ghulam Shabbir (PO ID) from PMDFC.
