Mr. Najy Benhassine, Country Director The World Bank, visited the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC). He was accompanied by Ms. Shahnaz Arshad, Team Task Leader, and other senior officials from the World Bank.
Under the leadership of Syed Zahid Aziz, MD PMDFC, senior company officers briefed the World Bank delegation on ongoing initiatives to improve municipal services for citizens. The briefing also covered the proposed Punjab Inclusive Cities Program, estimated at $400 million.
Key components of the program include: 💧 Provision of clean water 🚰 Upgraded sewerage systems 🌱 Development of pilot landfill sites
