Project Objectives

To provide assistance to the LG&CD Department Punjab and select local governments to educate the men and women sanitary workers, and other frontline staff of the targeted MCs on safety and health measures focusing Covid 19 prevention drive with a focus on citizens participation and engagement, as influencers in the process.

Project Activities

  • Baseline assessment of COVID-19 Response by LGs; Gauged awareness level of different categories of LG staff: Knowledge, Attitude, Practice (KAP) Survey and prepared its report
  • Procurement & distribution of PPE kits (400 No.) for the frontline staff of MC Muridke & Gojra
  • Developed Training Manuals / Modules Safety for officers & officials of LGs and conducted 04 training session at each MC
  • Devised key awareness messages & SOPs for MC staff
  • Developed Citizen Engagement session module and conducted 04 training sessions with civil society at MC Muridke and Gojra focusing one session for female at each MC
