Punjab Cities Project (PCP)
GoPb launched the Punjab Growth Strategy (PGS) highlighted the role of cities as engines of economic growth with urban development as a key drivers and consequently it was proposed that the ‘Punjab Cities Program” instead of Punjab Municipal Services Improvement Project (Phase– II) may be launched as Program for Results (P for R).The proposed Program for the cities of Punjab will build on the strong foundations already laid in the ULGs through the closed Punjab
The objective is to strengthen institutional interventions taken up under PMSIP and finance the gaps in municipal services infrastructure in some more intermediate and secondary cities to improve the municipal service delivery level.

Selected Municipal Committees of Punjab except falling under the World Bank funded PCGIP and ADB funded PICIIP
Bahawalnagar, Burewala, Daska, Gojra, Hafizabad, Jaranwala, Jhang, Jhelum, Kamalia, Kamoki, Khanewal, Kot Addu, Muridke, Okara,Vehari & Wazirabad
